About the Creator
Pierrick Gaumé is a French-born visual artist & industrial designer. His illustrative drawings, paintings & collages started being part of private collections in 1994. After traveling in Europe, in the Middle East & in America, Pierrick Gaumé came up with a photography practice & style of his own in 2009. Since then, the Automorphoses became the most iconic & comprehensive artwork series of his. Despite the fact he earned an Industrial Design M.A. from the Paris-based École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle in 1995, art production & exposure are predominant on Pierrick Gaumé’s career path. Working as an industrial designer, graphic designer, art director or product design history teacher as well kept him aware of his peculiar perception of city planning, car design, architecture and optical illusions. Since 1997, Pierrick Gaumé’s artwork was mostly exhibited in Paris, in Tel-Aviv, in the San Francisco Bay Area & in France.
