About the Book
The book contains 66 photos taken all around the world over a period of 7 years.
The first 'empty spaces' of this series were born without any consciousness of being 'empty spaces', it all happened by chance and only in the following years it became a real personal research.
The inhomogeneity of this selection reflects the progressive development of an idea.

About the Creator
Marco Vergano
Turin, Italy
I live and work in Turin, Italy, where I was born in 1975. My approach to photography was deeply influenced by my father's paintings, by Franco Fontana's natural and urban landscapes and by the surrealist painter René Magritte. I also love the photographs of Wim Wenders and Andreas Gursky. I strongly believe in a 'traditional' use of digital photography, far from a growing trend towards heavy image manipulation.
