About the Book
I recently went on a camping trip with my friend, John McGuigan, from the town of North East, PA. There were a number of places he wanted to check out that he had never visited before and I went along for the company.
Among others, we went to the Kinsua Reservoir area, the Grand Canyon of PA, but especially Ricketts Glen State Park where we saw in one day at least 22 named waterfalls from 7 to 96 feet high. The water in Kitchen Creek was extremely low but we chose to view it as 5% full rather than 95% empty (smile). The low water transformed the falls from powerful to delicate -- see if you agree. Also, because the water was so low, I sometimes took a picture of just a portion of the falls that I thought was especially picturesque. I hope you enjoy them!
