About the Book
Pan y Amor is the remarkable story of the abandoned street kids of Bolivia. For all of their outward charm and kind, gentle spirits, these youngsters are also unwanted, abandoned by their parents, and many times victims of horrific abuse.
These children may be considered castaways; forsaken and discarded by their parents, but they have not been forgotten. A cadre of dedicated caregivers in Bolivia, along with the Mission Office in the Archdiocese of St. Louis, is seeing to that. Providing care and financial support to help give these children a chance at life. This is their story.
