Gilbert Cole is a writer and psychoanalyst in New York City. He writes frequently about sexuality and identity. He teaches in the Psychiatry and Religion Program at the Union Theological Seminary and for psychoanalytic training institutes. A novel, "Fortune's Bastard, or Love's Pains Recounted" is coming out in 2012.
