Michelle is a poet and woodland photographer. Her Woodland Spaces Facebook page has over 25,000 followers. American Forests Magazine published some of Michelle’s work and extolled her writing as “soulful poems”, telling their readers that Michelle's “work conveys an unmistakable hopefulness”.

Michelle lives and works in the wooded uplands of Southwest Wisconsin. Her combined poetry and photography take readers on a journey into the forest through the eyes and heart of a poet. To read her poetry is to let go of cares and worries long enough to simply enjoy the beauty of woodland spaces.
