About
I came to Alaska in the military in 1974. After getting out of the service I settled in the Fairbanks area while working on the Trans-Alaska pipeline. It is an occupation I have continued to this day in one capacity or another.
I have always had an interest in photography, but it took the explosion of digital cameras to push me into the world with one in my hand. And after stepping out that door I have never wanted to go back.
My vision is not to just take pictures, but photographs of the many wonders that exist in the world as I experience them. Oddly enough, sometimes all it takes is a simple excursion into our backyards.
