About
Nancy Gomez is a Mexican-Canadian photographer based in Toronto, Ontario, whose work explores the intertwined themes of identity, human nature, and our relationship with the natural world. Currently completing her BFA in Photography at OCAD University, she first developed her artistic foundation at Sheridan College’s Art Fundamentals program.
Guided by a deep appreciation for nature’s beauty and the quiet charm of its creatures, Gomez creates imagery that highlights emotive detail and the subtle narratives within her subjects. Her photographs invite viewers to reflect on the fragility of the planet, the complexities of personal identity, and the importance of self-acceptance.
While her portfolio spans a range of topics, her strongest inspiration consistently returns to the wonder of the natural world. Through her work, Gomez hopes to spark a sense of connection, gratitude, and recognition of the unique beauty that surrounds us.
