About

Nathalie is an acrylic artist painter and the mother of a 6 year old boy who never stops asking questions! His curiosity about their homeland Haiti led her to embrace her culture even more and find creative ways to introduce it to him. It’s always been important for Nathalie to explore and tell stories through art
education. She has spent the past 12 years in New York City, painting, professionally framing and
teaching art . In her early career as an art specialist, she has taught through project based activities as well as as volunteered in art education in marginalized communities.
The book is one of many ways that Nathalie incites others to ask questions and learn through inquiry, critical thinking and conversation.
