Ethan is a senior Cinema and Photography major with a minor in Writing at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. He spends his summers in Maine as a bartender and producing music for local hip hop artists. His curiosity has motivated such activities as interning at Imagine Entertainment in Los Angeles last spring and working closely with critically acclaimed author Eleanor Henderson (Top 10 Books of the Year, New York Times, 2011, Top 5 Fiction Titles of 2011, O, The Oprah Magazine, 2011) on his debut novel portraying an actor struggling with brain damage in late 19th century New York City. He hopes his senior thesis film In Your Own Skin will help progress the gay rights movement forward and inspire critical thinking in those who disagree with his view. Ethan is also an avid photographer and has published many photography books and has exhibited at a number of venues. Ethan hopes to attend the University of California in Irvine in the fall to receive his M.F.A. in Creative Writing.
