Laurel Dee Gugler is a former teacher and children's museum programmer, as well as author/storyteller. Among her titles are award-winning "Muddle Cuddle" and "There's a Billy Goat in the Garden." Laurel met Wilma Schmidt, a fabric artist from rural Walton, at Bluestem Communities. She approached Wilma about illustrating her whimsical tale of traveling through the four seasons with fabric art. They invited Wilma's daughter, Elizabeth Schmidt, to assist. The resulting collaboration became "Circle of the Seasons."
