Asya Dodina and Slava Polishchuk are Russia-born artists who emigrated to New York in 1996. Working in collaboration since 2003.

Dodina and Polishchuk are the founders of Expressive Realism, an art style that brings together real-life subjects, intense personal emotion, and depth of inner experience.

Their works are in public collections including The Wende Museum, CA; The Museum of Russian Art (TMORA), Minneapolis, MN; Rutgers University, Zimmerli Art Museum; The Paul Robeson Galleries, Rutgers University, Newark, NJ; The Kolodzei Art Foundation, NJ; Brooklyn College Library, NY; State Tretyakov Gallery; Russian Academy of Arts; The Russian State Archive of Literature and Arts.

Slava Polishchuk is a graduate of The Moscow State Academic Art School in Memory of 1905, Brooklyn College, CUNY, BA, MFA.
