I was born in Santa Monica, California, in 1957. I am the third of four children. My father was born in Texas and my mother in California. We lived in California until I was 18 years old, when I enlisted in the United States Air Force, retiring after 20 years as a Master Sergeant.
I am married, have four daughters and eight grandchildren.
