Sonja is a self taught artist. She has been creating works of art her entire life but professionally for the last 20 years. She discovered the art of belly casting in 2003 while she was pregnant with her own daughter. After doing a cast on herself (with some assistance) she decided to take her love of art into another direction. Now her canvasses are pregnant women's bellies. Her passion for art, pregnancy and the pregnant form continue to grow with each pregnant belly she casts.
