Born in Ellenville, New York. Served in World War II in Army Air Corp, 20th Air Force in Guam. Graduated from Indiana University in 1949 with degree in Business Administration. Moved to Los Angeles, California in 1949 where he presently resides. Married Harriet in March of 1953. Has three children and seven grandchildren. Was executive in Crown Brokerage, a food brokerage company for 25 years. After retiring in 1982, consulted to the industry for 20 years. Member of El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana for 28 years, served on the board of directors for nine years. President of charitable organization for eight years.
