Kate Lord Brown grew up in the wild and beautiful Devon countryside. After studying at Durham University and the Courtauld Institute she worked as an international art consultant. A move to the orange groves of Valencia gave her the chance to complete her first novel. Her work has been published around the world, and she has now settled in Hampshire where she is writing her fourth novel.
