The power to Know Yes is at the heart of how I see, feel and create through photography. My images reflect my personal pursuit of a joyful life. While the genres of my photography range from travel, landscape, wildlife and nature, to urban skyline and street photography, no matter the genre, each image begins from a place of saying yes.

My journey in photography began while my 30-year career as a Public Defender ended. Working dedicatedly to my legal career, my creative mind had atrophied. I always enjoyed taking photos when I traveled, and oftentimes people on the trips would comment on my photography and the ability to capture the joyful feelings about a place in an image. I like to say Sacramento is my home, but the world is my second home.

When I retired from my legal career, I picked up a camera and have not put it down. My artistic goal is to translate my personal pursuit to know Yes and express the joy of saying yes through my images.
