I was born in Louisiana. I come from a poor, but loving family of nine siblings. I have lived in California since 1985. I am a mother of six grown kids and one teenager. I am a preschool teacher. I can not remember a single day of my entire life where I was ever not around kids. I started writing children stories when I was 12 years old. Dreaming of one day becoming a published writer. I am now Forty-eight years old and making my dream a reality. Writing is my passion. Writing to me is like soil is to plants. Writing children books and being able to read my very own book to my class of little ones is a great joy. I love getting their feed back. Kids are so honest and blunt. I also make it a point to let them know that if they have a dream and work hard and pray and believe then one day their dream will come true for them.
