Roland Walter is an independent photographer based near Zurich in Switzerland. From the early age of twelve he was fascinated by capturing the magic of all life's expressions. So he picked up his first camera and began taking photographs more than forty years ago.

Roland loves exploring the world with his camera. "There are so many interesting things out there that are truly a joy to look at. I simply follow my intuition to take compelling images that reveal the beauty, wonders, and inexplicabilities of the world. I enjoy sharing moments of everyday life that usually go unnoticed."

Roland's practice is continuously evolving as an ongoing journey of discovery, alongside select commissions. His presence has been steadily growing, with artworks featured in exhibitions worldwide and released as limited edition prints through a series of collections.
