About

Timothy Bentley (1943- ) is a photographer and avid sailor on the good ship Second Wind. He photographs water and sky, often from the deck of the boat or the perspective of a drone, as well as a range of subjects that speak to him of human aspirations.

He wrote his first published piece at age 13 for the local Woodbridge News ("Tow Truck Pulls Oil Tanker From Ditch"). Since then he has written as a journalist, broadcaster, psychotherapist, and coach. His books include "Skating To The End Of The World" (illustrated with photographs from the 1940s and 50s), "Lessons In Love: Building Happy Relationships", and "Leadership Coaching For The Workplace" (with his wife Esther Kohn-Bentley).
