Geordie Mott (b. 1976) is a Canadian photographer born in Vancouver and based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He is a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design photography and art history departments. This past year, Geordie has participated in a Magnum Photo masterclass at the Contact Photo Festival in Toronto and has been training with the Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative as a camera assistant through their Film 5 program.
Geordie's work and extensive travels have allowed him to photograph people, places and events all over the globe from gorillas in the mountains of Rwanda, the devastation of New Orleans after Katrina, to a 45,000 person tomato fight in Spain, or surfing off the coast of Australia.
