    About the Book

    Edit

Dorothee was fascinated by the drawing books for adults for some time now. A new form of art which gives people opportunity to shape the picture with colors, and which supposed to bring relief and relaxation. But this story is not about that at all. Rediscovering an almost 40 year old plush toy which belonged to her son, she created “Ente” – a drawing book, which at first glance may look like a drawing book for kids. In fact, it is a story full of metaphors and allegories - you can find motives, characters and templates so characteristic for her art, as well as references to contemporary culture. Additionally, the drawings are enriched with text of the author. This is not a simple drawing book, this is just another art piece to contemplate.
