    About the Book

    Edit

Born in Berlin in 1915, Margot Winter left home, family, language and culture when she fled the Third Reich. This book follows her journey from Berlin to Jerusalem, then to Zürich, Johannesburg, Cape Town, New York and finally, the old age home, The Fellowship, just outside of New York. Along the way she became a wife, mother, grandmother, friend to many, and practicing psychotherapist. Margot Ruschin Winter never lost her optimism. Photos and text document her life.
