    About the Book

    Edit

Doli is the word for elephant in Sango, the language of the Central African Republic, home to the Dzangha-Sangha National Park. This park, which is managed by the World Wildlife Fund, borders Congo, and Cameroon. Within the park is an enormous clearing in the forest called the Bai. Elephants, bongos, various monkey species, and many other examples of Africa's amazing diversity come to the Bai to take in its' mineral rich waters. At times over a hundred elephants will venture from the concealment of the dense forest where it is possible to photograph them more freely.

A portion of the profits from the sale of this book will go to the World Wildlife Fund to support continued research and conservation in the Dzangha-Sangha National Park.
