About the Book
During the 1955 through 1960 time period, I was a student at the University of Notre Dame, in South Bend, Indiana. My major was Chemical Engineering but my hobby was photography. Soon after arriving on campus I signed up to be a photographer for the Scholastic, the campus weekly magazine, and the Dome, the University's yearbook. Assignments for these publications allowed me to photograph a number of famous and well known people who visited and led the University. This book reveals some of those photographs and the story behind them.
