This book is a year-long photo research and art project. Working in the service industry alongside people from different backgrounds united by one goal and understanding for one another has truly changed who I am as a person for the better. This job has taught me a new depth of understanding to the question from my past: “Who do you serve?” Who am I as a person? What do I stand for? What do I allow? What do I want you to know of me? What is driving me to work so hard? Being in the food service industry has exposed me to the layers and layers of people devoting their lives to serving others and their individual motivations for why. Now it is time for you to get to know them and honor them for the work they do everyday.
