About the Book
The dark, cold months of winter always bring out the fears and anxiety of past depressions. There is no distraction of the sun to provide fleeting warmth. I made these photographs reflecting on a period of depression and hopelessness, using the seasons to make sense of the inescapable highs and lows we all experience regularly.
