While going through treatment for malignant throat cancer, John Nation decided to record his nightmares by creating photographs from small odds and ends around his house. It was painstaking close-up work shot with long exposures from a tripod. Some of the montages evoke horror, some elicit smiles. It was a healing process that is now available for others in this collection called “Hallucinations”. Please judge for yourself.
