LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
Issue 43 · October 2026
Ten years.
It’s a strange thing to write those words and realize how much they hold.
What began as an idea, a fascination with photography, the human form, fashion, and the intimacy of being seen has grown into something I could never have completely imagined when Desnudo first began. Ten years later, we are still here — still creating, still collaborating, still discovering new faces, new perspectives, and new ways to tell stories through the image.
And somehow, we have arrived at Issue 43.
This October issue is particularly meaningful because it closes not only another year, but a decade of Desnudo. Ten years of pages, photographs, conversations, experiments, friendships, risks, unexpected opportunities, and countless moments that existed for only a fraction of a second before becoming part of our history.
Desnudo has never been about simply taking photographs. It has always been about the relationship between the person in front of the camera and the person behind it. It is about trust. Vulnerability. Confidence. Collaboration. The quiet moments between direction and instinct. It is about allowing someone to be seen, not simply as a model, but as a presence, a personality, a story.
That spirit continues in Issue 43.
As our final issue of 2026, this edition feels both like a conclusion and a beginning. We are closing the tenth year while looking toward everything that comes next. The future of Desnudo will undoubtedly continue to evolve, but the heart of what we do remains unchanged: bringing together artists who believe that photography, fashion, and the human form can create something meaningful.
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to every photographer who contributed to this anniversary year, and especially to the artists whose work fills these pages:
Vazha Kuchuloria, Diontrae Jackson, Simone Auricchio, Alain Vasallo, Nikolai Dals, Giovanni Vanacore, ROBERTO CHENA, Arron Dunworth, Zhiyu Qu, and Jonathan Reicch
