This book involved a three-part process for me. I began by photographing 26 pieces of gum in their natural habitat, outside. Then I collected each piece of gum, after which I photographed them in a studio setting with artificial lighting.

Each page spread presents two photos of the same piece of gum, one outside, one inside. The book has been titled ABC since I used found gum that had already been chewed.
