Exploring a powerful blend of masculinity and personality, Nils Henrik Pedersen’s new series of photographs incite the viewer to reverie. Each moment in this superb collection is an X-ray of a soul, often illustrated by a surreal interface with flowers unfolding in the model’s intimate sphere. The theme of bloom is extended into the portraits, where face, body, and spirit are generously unravelled, momentarily allowing the viewer to feel that reality is more available than it really is.
