I was born, raised and educated in the hills of northeast Ohio. I moved to the Carolinas in 1980. I have been an active climber for 35 years and picked up whitewater kayaking and mountain biking as other passions along the way. I am married and the proud father of twin first grade girls. This book is a collection of climbing guides I have compiled to little known, yet exciting areas in the NC mountains. Be aware that legal access to these areas is sketchy at best. They are intended more for historical reference than current usefulness.
