Emily began crafting the first book in The Dragonslayer Chronicles at the age of 9. She was inspired to publish a book after being selected to participate in a writing program called “Future Authors” at her school. She discovered that the program helped her satisfy her love of fantasy writing in a way that typical classroom writing could not. She made a goal to publish a real book while in the fourth grade. Emily enjoys playing soccer, running track, spending time with loved ones, and drawing/reading/writing in her spare time.
