Kristin was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. She graduated from the University of North Florida in May of 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. She mixes her love of art and photography with her love of animals. The book "They're Here" came about from a documentary project where the Jacksonville Zoo graciously let her tag along with the zoo staff while they were creating Dino Alive 2011. She is now working as a groomer and pet portrait photographer while living in Jacksonville with her husband, dog and two cats.
