In this final project I wanted to take pictures of things seen everyday, but not necessarily paid attention to. I started out taking pictures of things around my parents house using the hight dynamic range format, and it dawned on me that mother’s day is around the corner and this would be a great gift, because it’s a documentary of their house. The camera that I’m using doesn’t have auto bracket, so I photographed the objects three to four times manually. Some photos I raised the detail to give it that surreal look. I chose items that had texture or something interesting to me and photographed them in an unusual perspective.
