Michael K. Dakota has been a photographer going on two decades now. After graduating from Kent State University with a degree in photo-illustration he began working as a photojournalist. He has worked for newspapers in Ohio, Kansas and Louisiana. Dakota is an award winning nature photographer. His passion of late is photographing lighthouses. "It's the juxtaposition of nature's natural horizon and the elegance of these historical towers rising up from the water's edge."
