I have always resorted to writing as a means of expressing my thoughts and feelings. For me, it is a way to capture my emotions in a meaningful manner. I find myself observing the world and people around me. I tend to me very sympathetic and empathetic towards others and often write from the perspective of how others react or respond to certain situations. I find myself taking photographs in many situations. It is a way of suspending time and capturing moments. I want my children to feel comfortable expressing themselves and I want them to find something in life that brings them pure joy. Being able to finally share my poems and photographs with the larger community, is a way for me to model that joy to my children. Life is precious and far too short. It is vital that we make the most of it.
