The photographs within this book were taken on my first trip to Berlin. They are an attempt to capture some of the flavours, vistas and textures which caught my eye during my time in this exciting city.



I find myself drawn to looking at things from strange angles and delighting in the abstration of isolated close-ups, all in pursuit of seeing beauty in the everyday and commonplace.
