About the Creator
Mario Ramos was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras in 1977. He is a photographer, TV producer and filmmaker, and five-time Emmy Award winner. Of his cinematographic work, the highlights are his debut feature "La Condesa", and the short films "Come back to us", "Chocolate" and the documentary "Brigade". Previously, Mario Ramos was an on-screen presenter and Director of Production for Univision Washington. As a photographer, Mario Ramos won the José Martí Prize awarded by the National Association of Hispanic Publications in the United States and his images have illustrated the covers of multiple books. Una Antologia casi literal (2016-2019) is his debut as an author, featuring his original short stories and literary articles. Framing Time his is first book of photographs published in 2012. He is the director and founder of Cabezahueca Films, co-founder of Ágrafos, a magazine of literature, art, and politics. He is also Honorary Ambassador of Plan International Honduras.
