About the Book
WallEscapes is a book which has been printed by Blurb. It is hard bound. It is a 40 page book in landscape format. It contains Photographs I have taken of Walls in Arizona. My approach has been influenced by Edward Weston (the close up approach not the distant all inclusive approach often favored by Ansel Adams and his followers). With this approach each Photograph becomes a world unto itself and becomes an object "abstracted from reality" not subject to the scale of its environment or context. This object is then placed back into the world as an Artwork. With digital technology I have chosen to make these images in color using a professional Epson printer and high quality inks. Each is a limited edition on demand Artwork.
