About the Book
This is a thesis project whereby I created fantasy narratives and vignettes that are based on my own past experience as the owner of a wedding shop.
My goal is to construct commentaries about the absurdities of some of these wedding rituals and traditions that we still observe in contemporary American society, thereby posing questions for the audience to consider.
Ultimately, my photographic work explores the ways in which many of common wedding traditions and rituals serve to subsume individual identity.
