Photography began as a hobby for me in 1975 and has evolved into an obsesssion. I've always been a do-it-your-selfer and started out early by building a black & white darkroom which then evolved into a color darkroom. Thankfully, I was rescued from that curse when digital photography and Photoshop came onto the scene. Digital photography has changed the way I now photograph. My latest photography is more abstract and combines elements to create a new experience that exists in my mind and not necessarily in the outside world. Traditional photography provided me with the discipline that, once mastered, allowed me to change the rules to create images that exist in my mind.
