Das Tiger describes how a simple hobby project grew into a 10 year obsession to build the world's most technically advanced model of the infamous WWII Tiger tank. Powered by a 150cc V12 twelve cylinder gasoline motor designed and built by the author, the model replicated many of the original Tiger habits being prone to overheating, track jamming and various forms of self destruction. The book describes all the challenges and technical aspects of the build along with a hint of life growing up on an Australian wheat farm thrown.

In 2013 the model won the gold medal for internal combustion engines at the prestigious Model Engineer Exhibition in London.
