I was inspired by a book my Father brought home from his trip to Hawaii, called "how to live in Flip Flops" so I decided to do an adaptation of it for my love with some additional personal quotes that inspired us. For some reason, when I read that book the first time, it reminded me of his life and a lot of the sayings really resonated and tugged at my heart strings. Even though we aren't together anymore, I wanted him to keep the photos and memories we had shared. I couldn't let them go to waste! All of the photography is either mine or his, with the exception of the wave in Nicaragua. It's of him surfing, but I don't know who the photographer was. All of the photos were shot primarily in the Hamptons as well as Santa Cruz, Puerto Rico and Nicaragua. I used the app Word Swag for the typography. I hope you enjoy!! I think what I want anyone to pull from this book is that you should never settle! Love is worth it, even if you don't receive it in return. To experience it even for a moment, that is what makes the world go round. Love makes you do things like make this book, that is so out of character for me, but I felt compelled to do it. Cheers!
