About the Book
Autobiographical sketch of Lucinda Boynton Marshall was written by Lucinda Boynton Marshall in 1945 with the intent of documenting her lifehistory until that point. It is a treasure and a glimpse into life in the early 1900’s rural Maine. In working with Lucinda’s diary with her son, Paul Marshall, we believe that her spirit, observations and language have emerged to preserve who she was and what life was like in those times. It was in this in mind that we have leftspellings, grammar and language as written.
