About the Book
A photo collection from a three week journey in Nepal and Tibet, spanning from Chitwan National Park in the southern part of Nepal along the border to India, to the southern part of Tibet (which is the highest part of Tibet - and the world).
Chitwan has almost a tropical climate, hot, moist and humid, while the Tibetan plateau due to its height has snows on the peaks and has generally quite lower temperatures.
The Himalayas, or Himalaya, is the mountain range in Asia separating the plains of the Indian subcontinent from the Tibetan plateau. The border beetween Nepal and Tibet stretches along the peaks of Himalaya, including the highest peak of the planet Mount Everest at 8,849 meters above sea level.
The book contains 1450 high resolution photos and panoramas, most very scenic.
This book is 420 pages large, in large landscape format giving the photos a fair chance.
