    About the Book

    Edit

The project “Those Like Us - The Unseen and Invisible” is meant to show the opposite of the glamorous and famous social “heroes” easily found on the surfaces of our society.
As they are seen in television shows, magazines, advertisements and literally everywhere in public, they are solidly anchored in our minds and considered as idols representing an upper class of people.
I questioned myself on how much I really know about the people working underneath this “upper” social haze.
“Those Like Us” gives an impression of the workers located in the gaps and around the edges of society. It shows the unseen and invisible “heroes”, usually labelled as replaceable, unimportant or mundane. However these are the people really keeping our society running.
I want to give these people a voice to make you think twice about their role in the social order.
