    Edit

This is a special view of Sao Paulo, one of those ugly concrete jungle cities which can hide beauty. Look at it through the mirrors of the city's buildings.

    Amstelveen, the Netherlands

"See What the Dutch Say" is a book done in partnership with Alette Vonk, Fernando Lanzer and Juanita Wijnands, where we combined my photography with our expertise in cultural diversity. I'm a gaucha who was born and raised in Southern Brazil, where the Brazilian cowboys live. For Brazilians, the gauchos are considered too direct and sometimes rude in their communication. I feel quite at home living in the Netherlands to where I moved with my family years ago. Here, most foreigners consider the Dutch the same way, although we (Dutch and gauchos) consider ourselves just frank. I have been working with multicultural teams, helping them to better cooperate and understand each other. For 18 years I was part of the team of the pioneer on culture's studies, Geert Hofstede. My work has been taking me to travel around the globe and through that, it creates opportunities also to consolidate my passion for photography. So, you can expect to see more books combining Culture and Photography.
