About the Book
The largest archival theft in US history led to a stint in Federal Prison for a young man battling his internal demons. By turning the experience into a 10-month self-taught art therapy session, Jason Savedoff chronicles his journey of self-discovery and introspection with visuals and text while incarcerated. Through his interactions with fellow inmates, he created a 150 -piece prison art collection that incorporates the thoughts, stories and ideas of other prisoners that serve as the inspiration for Ad Lucem. Topics addressed range from Mental Health awareness, socio-economic challenges, the perils of 'the system' and philosophical views on the meaning of life itself.
