Lukas E.W.J Curnow is an illustrator & artist from the United Kingdom. Born 1986,the artist often works using fairy tales and folklore from their Scottish background- whilst also calling upon their Romany gypsy and indigenous Sámi lineage to create modern interpretations of fantasy often with a political message. His work has been displayed in several galleries around the United Kingdom, as well as several pieces internationally. He has also illustrated several book covers as well as several album covers for independent music artists, advertisements for several businesses and has released two calendars 2014 Fables and 2015 WonderlandWonders. His collection ‘Lucy’s Labyrinth’ was also an instant success - leading to a jewellery line collaboration and praise from within the independent artist community. Lukas EWJ still releases work. However after suffering ongoing health issues from 2014 which have left the artist with physical disabilities - the focus on work is now charity based.
